About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to join our team at Société Générale Assurances. As a key member of our Finance Department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business growth and stability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily P&L Explanation: Consolidate and communicate daily results to senior management, liaise with stakeholders to understand business drivers and issues.
  • RWA Monitoring and Analysis: Track and analyze RWA variances against budgets and forecasts, collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather RWA-related data.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing regular financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, work closely with department heads to gather inputs and assumptions.
  • Data Integrity and Analysis: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial data, conduct thorough data analysis to identify discrepancies and trends.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Undertake ad hoc financial analysis projects to provide insights into specific business decisions, collaborate with the FP&A team to develop financial models.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in enhancing FP&A processes and tools to drive efficiency and accuracy, suggest and implement improvements to reporting formats and data collection methods.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Qualifications: Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, excellent communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis using Excel and other relevant tools, knowledge of BI tools and financial systems is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Economics.
Language

Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners.
