Job DescriptionAs a Dental Hygiene Specialist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, examining patients' oral health, and taking X-rays as needed. You will also screen patients for signs of oral diseases, educate them on proper oral hygiene techniques, and administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants when necessary.
You will work closely with our dental team to ensure coordinated patient care and stay up-to-date with advancements in dental hygiene and preventive care. We expect you to uphold strict infection control and safety protocols at all times.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have a current dental hygiene license, strong clinical skills, and excellent communication and patient education skills. Proficiency in using dental software and electronic health records (EHR) systems is also essential. A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care is a must.
