**Job Description**

As a Registered Dental Hygienist at Bayside Family Dental, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the best possible care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque, tartar, and stains.
  • Examining patients' oral health by assessing their gums, teeth, and soft tissues.
  • Taking and developing dental X-rays (radiographs) as needed.
  • Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and providing personalized home care instructions.
  • Administering fluoride treatments and applying dental sealants as necessary.
  • Collaborating with the dental team to ensure coordinated patient care.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current dental hygiene license.
  • Proficiency in using dental software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • A commitment to maintaining dental hygiene licensure through continuing education.
