At Next Generation Design Wave, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our design office, you will assist senior staff members in preparation of project documents, correspondence, presentations, and execution of general office protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with project management and lead in implementation of task management software in the office.
  • Work closely with Principal Architect to monitor and update project schedules and work with senior team members in preparation of reports to the client.
  • Coordinate and schedule internal, client, consultant coordination, and other stakeholder meetings. Prepare agendas and distribute them. Attend project meetings, take minutes, produce and distribute them, and follow up on action items.
  • Lead preparation of consultant RFP and issuance of project quote packages with detailed scope of work to the client. Review, analyze, and prepare price quote comparisons using Excel.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a project coordination role in an architectural or urban planning setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work well in teams.
  • Advanced abilities in the use of MS Office and Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop). MS Project is an asset.
  • Diploma in Architectural Technology, Art, or related education is preferred.
