We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Systems Draftsperson to join our team at Ace Machining Ltd.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing construction specifications, costs and material estimates. They will examine drawings for conformity and errors, and realize machine castings to make metal molds, core boxes and precisely shaped models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of Construction Specifications: The Computer Systems Draftsperson will prepare detailed construction specifications, including costs and material estimates, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Examination of Drawings: They will carefully examine drawings for conformity and errors, ensuring that all necessary details are included and accurate.
  • Machining Operations: The successful candidate will be responsible for realizing machine castings, making metal molds, core boxes and precisely shaped models to meet the requirements of various projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • SolidWorks Certification: A SolidWorks certification is required for this role, demonstrating expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Shop Drawings: The Computer Systems Draftsperson should have experience with shop drawings, which involve creating detailed drawings of parts and assemblies.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication is crucial in this role, as the successful candidate will need to work closely with colleagues and clients to understand project requirements and deliver results.
