Executive Culinary Director

About the Role:
OLE HIBACHI RESTAURANT is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Culinary Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the culinary vision and direction of the restaurant.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior leadership role in a high-volume restaurant setting. You will be responsible for creating new recipes, supervising kitchen staff, and preparing meals for special guests or functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create new recipes that showcase creativity and flair while adhering to the restaurant's brand standards
- Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food, with a focus on delivering exceptional quality and presentation
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets, working closely with event planners and other teams to ensure seamless execution
- Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff, providing coaching and guidance to help them grow in their roles
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that all team members are equipped to deliver exceptional service
Work Environment:
This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask are essential. The successful candidate must be able to stand for extended periods and work well under pressure.

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
