About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Caregiver to join our team at Chartwell L'Envol. As a Medical Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve and Feed Patients

You will be responsible for serving meal trays and feeding patients in a safe and respectful manner.

Maintain Inventory of Supplies

You will be responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory of supplies and ensuring that they are readily available for use.

Bathe, Dress, and Groom Patients

You will be responsible for bathing, dressing, and grooming patients in a safe and respectful manner.

Answer Call Signals

You will be responsible for answering call signals to determine patients' needs and providing assistance as required.

Administer First Aid

You will be responsible for administering first aid in emergency situations and providing basic life support as required.

Requirements
  • Education

You will have a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.

Experience

You will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

Certifications

You will have Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training and CPR Certificate.

Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced environment and be able to work under pressure.

Physical Demands

You will be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
