We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Caregiver to join our team at Résidence des Franciscains. As a Medical Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities: Help residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as assist with mobility and transfers.
  • Provide personal care: Assist with feeding, toileting, and other personal care needs.
  • Monitor vital signs: Take residents' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse as needed.
  • Assist with meal service: Serve meal trays and assist with feeding residents.
  • Maintain a safe environment: Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by reporting any concerns or incidents to management.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Certifications: Acute care nursing Certificate, Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training, Continuing Care Assistant Certification, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Nursing Aide Certificate, and Health Care Aide Certificate.
