Medical Caregiver

We are seeking a skilled Medical Caregiver to join our team at Jardins Vie-Dali INC. as a Medical Orderly. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents in a nursing home/home for the aged setting.
Key Responsibilities- Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities and ensure their safety and well-being during these activities.
- Perform other duties related to personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
- Take patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any concerns to the nursing staff.
- Deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain patients' rooms and ensure they are clean and tidy.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure that all necessary equipment is available.
- Transport patients in a wheelchair or stretcher, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Answer call signals to determine patients' needs and respond accordingly.
- Collect specimens and prepare them for laboratory analysis.
- Administer first aid in emergency situations and provide basic life support as needed.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Experience an asset, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and Health Care Aide Certificate.

This is a permanent position with a variable schedule of 20 to 40 hours per week. The work language is French.
