About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Caregiver to join our team at Résidence des Franciscains. As a Medical Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Administer first aid and respond to emergency situations
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
  • Contribute to a safe and respectful environment by following infection control and safety protocols
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Acute care nursing Certificate
  • Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training
  • Continuing Care Assistant Certification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Nursing Aide Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
