We are seeking a skilled Medical Caregiver to join our team at Jardins Vie-Dali INC. as a Medical Orderly. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents in a nursing home/home for the aged setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities and ensure their safety and well-being during these activities.
  • Perform other duties related to personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
  • Take patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain patients' rooms and ensure they are clean and tidy.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure that all necessary equipment is available.
  • Transport patients in a wheelchair or stretcher, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs and respond accordingly.
  • Collect specimens and prepare them for laboratory analysis.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations and provide basic life support.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and Health Care Aide Certificate.
