We are seeking a skilled Medical Caregiver to join our team at Chartwell L'Envol. As a Medical Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Serving Meals and Feeding Patients
Prepare and serve meal trays to residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met and their mealtime experience is enjoyable.
Maintaining Inventory and SuppliesManage and maintain an inventory of supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are available and in good condition.
Providing Personal CareBathe, dress, and groom residents, promoting their dignity and independence.
Responding to Call SignalsRespond promptly to call signals, assessing residents' needs and providing assistance as required.
Administering First AidAdminister first aid in emergency situations, ensuring the health and safety of residents.
Requirements- Education and Experience
College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
Certifications and TrainingMoving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training and CPR Certificate.
Work Environment and Physical DemandsFast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, manual dexterity, attention to detail, ability to distinguish between colors, sound discrimination, standing for extended periods, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
