Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Secretary to provide high-level administrative support to the Director of Health Services and managers within the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative duties, including processing staff status changes, new hire postings, and terminations, as well as coordinating meetings and taking minutes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Health Services and managers
- Process staff status changes, new hire postings, and terminations
- Coordinate meetings and take minutes
- Manage on-call schedules and back up purchaser/requisitioner in SAP
- Organize staff celebrations and long-term service recognition events
- Relieve reception as needed and perform other administrative duties as required
Requirements
- Two years of experience in word processing and office administration
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Formal training in applied office skills
- Proficiency with computerized systems, including Microsoft Office and SAP
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Working Conditions
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced office environment and may be exposed to disease, radiation, and other health hazards. A current satisfactory Criminal Records Check, Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check are required as conditions of employment.
