About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Azores Cambridge Bakery Ltd. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of retail staff, ensuring excellent customer service and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Lead Retail Team Members
    • Assign tasks and duties to team members to ensure efficient store operations
    • Provide guidance and coaching to team members to improve their skills and performance
    • Monitor and control store inventory, including ordering and receiving merchandise
  • Customer Service and Sales
    • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
    • Meet or exceed sales targets by promoting products and services to customers
  • Store Operations
    • Manage store appearance and maintain a clean and organized store environment
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and customer service
    • Analyze sales data and provide insights to improve store performance
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Working Conditions

The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to lift heavy loads and work in a standing position for extended periods is required.
