Gallagher Benefit Services is a leading provider of employee benefits and human resources consulting services. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Business Development Consultant to join our team.

About the Role

The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and acquire new business revenue through sales to new and existing clients, with a focus on small to mid-size companies. This involves participating in team sales situations with other producers and support personnel, developing a pipeline of business opportunities that are an appropriate mix of new clients and account expansion.

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and develop strategies for approaching them
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers at target companies to understand their needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each client
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who has a proven track record in consultative B2B sales. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in developing new business and maintaining existing customer relationships, with a strong understanding of the benefits administration and consulting industry.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive salary package, including a base salary of $85,000 per annum, plus performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits program. This includes flexible medical and dental coverage, life insurance options, retirement savings, and employee stock purchase plan. We also offer educational expense reimbursement, employee assistance programs, discounted gym membership, and paid time off to volunteer.
