Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Comfort Inn & Suites, Terrace. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of 1-2 staff members to ensure seamless hotel operations.
    • Provide guidance, training, and support to staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Guest Services
    • Assist guests with special needs and ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
    • Coordinate and review work to ensure efficient and effective guest services.
  • Operations and Maintenance
    • Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
    • Requisition materials and supplies to support hotel operations.
  • Human Resources
    • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
    • Stand for extended periods and maintain a high level of physical fitness.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
    • Accurate, dependable, and organized with a client-focused approach.
