Hotel Clerk Supervisor Job Description

At Best Western Terrace Inn and Terrace Inn Liquor Store, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Clerk Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our hotel operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our hotel staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Hotel Staff: Lead and manage a team of hotel staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet the needs of our guests.
  • Perform Administrative Tasks: Manage hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance staff skills and knowledge, ensuring they are equipped to handle various situations.
  • Maintain Hotel Standards: Ensure all hotel areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas, meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality.
  • Manage Hotel Systems: Oversee the operation of hotel systems, including computer systems, equipment, and machinery, ensuring business continuity and customer service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
