Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Legal

Our client, a reputable law firm in downtown Toronto, seeks an experienced Administrative Assistant with a strong legal background in corporate and litigation to support a senior partner.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily administrative operations of a partner in corporate and litigation, including client onboarding and conflict checks.
  • Prepare correspondence and legal documents for review, and provide daily calendar updates and communication support.
  • Provide full administrative support with respect to correspondence, diarizing events, delivering letters, opening and closing files, docketing, billing, calendar management, and filing.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience working as a legal administrative assistant.
  • Successful completion of a community college level legal Assistant or Law Clerk program.
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite of Applications.
  • Organized, keen eye for detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to problem solve, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to multitask and manage a high volume of emails and work requests.
