At Inspiretci, we are seeking a skilled Behavioral Support Professional to join our team. This role is responsible for implementing skills acquisition programs that focus on teaching adaptive skills, such as personal care and hygiene, academics, and social skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement facility-wide behavioral programs and individualized behavioral protocols, skill acquisition programs, and complete necessary documentation.
  • Model appropriate behavior, provide positive reinforcement and corrective feedback daily.
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living, including bathing, transfers, toileting, and physical assistance.
  • Administer resident medication programs.
  • Interact with residents' families and visitors in the facility and on home visits.
  • Complete daily documentation, including behavioral data, shift summaries, house charts, checklists, medication administration records, and incident reports.
  • Ensure the safety of all residents and coworkers by maintaining a safe environment, following safety protocols, and implementing physical and mechanical interventions.
  • Attend crisis intervention and other training, as required.

Qualifications:

  • College diploma or university degree in Autism & Behavioral Sciences, Developmental Services, Human Services, Police Foundations, Psychology, Criminology, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Energetic and self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and apply new knowledge.
  • Available to work a rotating schedule.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a team.
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Experience working with individuals with complex behaviors (asset).
  • Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (asset).
  • Current First-Aid and CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Crisis Intervention training.
  • Registered Behavior Technician training.
