Executive Director of Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Executive Director, Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer at Seven Oaks General Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Job Summary:The Executive Director, Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for providing strategic and operational support to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). This includes leading the nursing and allied professions, ensuring the development and adherence to professional ethics and standards of nursing and allied practice, and integrating acute and community programs and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic and operational support to the COO
- Lead the nursing and allied professions
- Ensure the development and adherence to professional ethics and standards of nursing and allied practice
- Integrate acute and community programs and services
- Assume responsibility for the effective and economic administration of Renal Health, Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Rehab/Geriatrics Programs, and other assigned departments or services
- Contribute to the overall administration of the hospital through participation in policy setting, planning, budgetary, and quality assurance activities
- Serve on various hospital committees and participate in inter-hospital liaison activities as assigned or authorized
- Seven (7) years of progressively responsible management and leadership experience within nursing and healthcare administration
- Experience in community health or social services preferred
- Extensive experience in service delivery and business operations
- Ability to lead and participate in both short- and long-term planning
- Experience in human resource management, financial management, and quality improvement required
- Experience with facilities management is desirable
- Experience in program planning, development, and evaluation required
- Recognized course in Health Care Management an asset
- Evidence of initiative as well as creative problem-solving
- Ability to work in a complex environment that includes working with various acute and community departments and programs
- Ability to work with all levels of staff, management, and professionals in diverse groups and across sectors
- Ability to actively promote and support integration of services
- Strong collaborative, interpersonal, and relationship or team building skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience in process improvement methodologies such as LEAN, an asset
