About the Role:

Grand River Hospital and St. Mary's General Hospital are seeking a highly skilled Organizational Development and Change Consultant to join their Transition Management Office (TMO). This is a temporary full-time position anticipated to extend to November 27, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert on change management for the TMO, developing, implementing, and managing strategies to prepare, support, and equip leaders, staff, and physicians to engage and embed changes across business processes, systems, job roles, and organization structures.
  • Maintain a collaborative partnership with the integrated Learning and Organizational Development Department to ensure synergies and alignment in the vision and strategy of the work undertaken.
  • Develop and manage organizational change and engagement efforts, leveraging expertise in leadership coaching, stakeholder consultation, employee engagement, and feedback strategies, as well as user experience design.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to effectively implement change initiatives and ensure a smooth transition.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in business administration, I/O psychology, human resources, or a related discipline.
  • Change Management and Coaching Certifications or willingness to undertake these certifications.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a formal leadership role.
  • Minimum of 7 years' progressive experience designing, developing, and managing organizational change and engagement efforts.
  • Significant exposure and applied expertise in leadership coaching, stakeholder consultation, employee engagement, and feedback strategies, as well as user experience design.
  • Experience with psychometrics and employee listening strategies is essential.
  • Strong internal consulting and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional social intelligence to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work with senior leadership.
  • Healthcare experience is desired.
