Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at XL FOOD INC. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate special events and menus
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements:
  • Permanent work term
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • or equivalent experience
