About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary, with the possibility of overtime. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy equipment fleet by performing routine maintenance tasks and repairs.

Responsibilities
  • Service and maintain modern heavy equipment, including material handlers, loaders, bobcats, forklifts, manlifts, shuttle wagons, and other machinery
  • Perform preventative maintenance as per service schedules to prevent equipment downtime
  • Keep the work area clean and organized to ensure a safe working environment
  • Conduct scheduled Preventative Maintenance tasks and checklists accurately and efficiently
  • Complete work orders and document used parts for reordering
  • Operate state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to identify and repair issues promptly
  • Work independently, prioritize tasks based on production requirements, and stay focused on completing tasks
  • Maintain a high level of mechanical aptitude and adapt to new technologies and procedures
Requirements
  • Experience working safely in a heavy industrial setting, with a focus on equipment maintenance and repair
  • Possess proficient welding and torch cutting skills
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors, in various environmental conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
