As a growth-oriented metal recycling and processing company, we are seeking an experienced Full-time Truck and Trailer Technician to join our team at our Saint John, NB location.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a motivated individual who is eager to learn and take on new challenges. As a Truck and Trailer Technician, you will work on electrical, hydraulics, brakes & suspension systems, and perform preventative maintenance tasks as per service schedule.
Responsibilities:- Service modern equipment including material handlers, loaders, bobcats, forklifts, manlifts, shuttle wagon, etc.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks as per service schedule
- Keep the workplace clean and organized
- Perform any other related duties
- Experience working safely in a heavy industrial setting
- Proficient in welding and torch cutting
- Able to conduct and complete scheduled Preventative Maintenance tasks and checklists
- Able to complete work orders and ensure any parts that are used are documented for reordering
Competitive salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
