About the RoleThis is a permanent position that requires a strong background in heavy equipment repair and maintenance. You will work independently and as part of a team to troubleshoot and inspect equipment, diagnose faults and malfunctions, and adjust or replace defective parts. Your attention to detail and ability to work safely will ensure the efficient operation of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A strong understanding of heavy equipment repair and maintenance principles
- Experience working with hydraulic-operated attachments and welding equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
