Restaurant Operations Manager

The Chill Desire is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities- Budgeting and Cost Control
Develop and manage budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen, and cleaning supplies.
Operations EvaluationEvaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
Menu Planning and PricingModify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget.
Staff ManagementRecruit, train, and manage staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
Supplier NegotiationsNegotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
Requirements
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
Work Environment
- Permanent position
- 35 to 40 hours per week
- English language
