About the Role
Zurich Insurance Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Claims Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Investigative and Recovery Services team, you will play a critical role in evaluating legal liability and aggressively pursuing, negotiating, and resolving subrogation collections.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate legal liability and pursue, negotiate, and resolve subrogation collections
- Communicate with insureds, witnesses, attorneys, and underwriters to obtain and provide necessary information
- Work within specific limits and authority on assignments of moderate technical complexity
- Prepare, review, and approve data input into the Loss Accounting System
- Handle multi-line and multi-jurisdictional losses
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Insurance Industry
- OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the Insurance Industry
- OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Insurance Industry
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of commercial lines insurance, including jurisdictional laws
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years Subrogation Insurance Industry experience
- Negotiation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Organization and detail-oriented skills
