Job Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our properties by providing timely and effective maintenance services. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and respond to maintenance requests in a professional and timely manner
  • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance work on the building, including routine inspections and repairs
  • Perform general and specialized maintenance requests, including minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and renovation repairs
  • Ensure maintenance repairs are completed within 24 hours to ensure resident satisfaction and safety
  • Complete scheduled inspections of suites on an annual basis, pre-vacate and pre-delivery to ensure our standards are being maintained
  • Maintain a clean work environment at all times and monitor external contractor progress
  • Utilize technology to accurately drive productivity and continuous improvement for maintenance service delivery
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; College diploma or trades certification in relevant field preferred
  • Skilled in repair and maintenance of building systems, including minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and miscellaneous renovation repairs
  • Self-starter with high degree of initiative, agility, flexibility, and professionalism
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Intermediate level knowledge of MS Office and basic knowledge of Yardi an asset
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
