About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining single or multiple client facilities, ensuring safety, productivity, and efficiency standards are met. This includes:

  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive maintenance programs, including training personnel and establishing Preventive Maintenance Programs;
  • Effectively managing employee performance, utilizing processes such as coaching, mentoring, and corrective disciplinary action;
  • Solving problems and conflicts in a professional manner, while maintaining open and timely communication with clients;
  • Coordinating all utility building activities, preparing proposals for additions, deletions, and changes to contract scope, and tracking project costs;
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and third parties, ensuring timely exchange of information and budgetary requirements are met;

We require a candidate with 3-5 years' experience in building maintenance or related trades, who possesses strong knowledge of building electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and building structural systems. Experience with commercial/institutional buildings, project management, and hydro/water/HVAC is an asset. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, ability to shift priorities on an ad hoc basis, and flexibility with working hours.

Requirements
  • Possesses post-secondary education in a related field;
  • Holds valid driver's license and meets security clearance requirements;
  • Passes police reference check for vulnerable persons;
  • Demonstrated experience in problem-solving abilities, proven track record supervising multiple teams, and excellent written and verbal communication skills;
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits.
