Job Summary

WHISTLER 99 COURIER AND FREIGHTWAYS CORPORATION is seeking a skilled Courier Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport goods and packages to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Delivery: Operate company vehicles to pick up and deliver packages and goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by being responsive to customer needs and resolving any issues that may arise during delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition and report any issues to management.
  • Logistics and Planning: Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize delivery routes and ensure timely delivery of packages.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of delivery routes, vehicle mileage, and any issues that may arise during delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles) is required.
  • Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Environment: This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and handling heavy loads.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 32 hours per week.
