Field Specialist in Environmental Monitoring and Management

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in the Northwest Territories, specifically in Yellowknife. As a Field Generalist with Environmental Resources Management (ERM), you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing field programs, compiling, managing, and analyzing data.
The successful candidate will have a BSc in any scientific discipline and 2-3 years of experience organizing and executing field programs in remote locations. They will also have strong data management skills, including graphical and statistical interpretation, as well as excellent writing and communication skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing field QAQC practices
- Drafting technical reports on environmental monitoring and impact assessments
- Managing office administration and gear inventory
A valid driver's license and good driving record are required. Boating experience is an asset. The ideal candidate will be able to travel and work in remote locations under seasonal conditions.
Earn approximately $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. ERM offers a Northern Allowance for employees working in the Northwest Territories.
