Environmental Remediation Specialist

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Remediation Specialist to join our team in Yellowknife, NT. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the execution of environmental investigations and remediation projects.
About the Role- Contribute to all phases of the remediation life cycle, from assessment to closure, with a focus on environmental investigations and remediation projects.
- Participate in technical writing, preparation, and review of technical documents.
- Provide safety leadership and oversight for field meetings, subcontractors, and safe work practices.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies, clients, and AECOM staff to ensure compliance and effective project delivery.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering or sciences discipline, such as civil, geological, chemical, or environmental engineering.
- 6 years' experience as an environmental consultant, industry representative, or regulator in contaminated site investigation, remediation/reclamation, and waste management.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Canada's northern territories.
- Prior experience working in the Canadian North and on federally-regulated project sites is an asset.
- A competitive salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on experience.
