Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Secretary to join our team at Fraser Health. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Adolescent Day Treatment Program, ensuring the smooth operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide secretarial duties, including screening incoming materials, prioritizing tasks, and responding to inquiries
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and coordinating workflow
  • Assist with receptionist duties, including receiving and prioritizing incoming inquiries and directing to appropriate staff
  • Maintain a filing system for patient records and correspondence
  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

  • Grade 12, graduation from a recognized secretarial program, including a recognized course in medical terminology
  • Three years recent, related experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Ability to keyboard at 60 w.p.m., operate related equipment, and communicate effectively
