We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our dynamic HR team in Edmonton, AB.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop proactive recruitment strategies for unionized and non-unionized positions.
  • Utilize a variety of tools and platforms to attract top-tier talent, including job boards, social media, networking, and industry events.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from job postings to extending offers, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires and hiring managers alike.
  • Build and maintain a robust and diverse talent pipeline in the areas of engineering, trades, and operations to meet future hiring needs.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and collective bargaining agreements for unionized positions.
  • Provide regular updates to hiring managers and stakeholders on recruitment progress and challenges, fostering transparency and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 5-7 years of recruitment experience, ideally within a corporate/operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices in recruitment, including behavioral-based interviews and candidate assessment methodologies.
  • Experience in conducting recruitment market research and developing effective recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill roles.
