Position Overview

The Housekeeping Attendant, commonly referred to as a Room Attendant, is essential in delivering a remarkable experience for guests and team members by ensuring the cleanliness of guest accommodations in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exhibits a strong dedication to providing outstanding service for guests.
  • Adheres to company protocols, policies, and procedures while cleaning designated guest rooms.
  • Maintains housekeeping carts, storage areas, and laundry facilities as per company standards.
  • Informs the front desk or duty manager of any maintenance concerns.
  • Reports any items left behind by guests in the room to the front desk.
  • Assists with guest inquiries and requests as feasible.
  • Follows safety and security measures diligently.

Additional Duties

  • Helps in cleaning various areas of the hotel as directed by management.
  • Responsible for maintaining overall cleanliness throughout the hotel.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Ability to understand instructions, policies, and guidelines, and communicate effectively with management and staff.
  • Capability to comprehend and follow guidelines, meet deadlines, and uphold productivity standards.
  • Consistent exercise of sound judgment.

Environmental Considerations

  • Ability to thoroughly clean facilities in line with company standards.
  • Must be able to access low areas, work at heights, and maintain stability as needed.
  • Flexibility to bend, kneel, and crouch is required.
  • Occasional lifting or moving of items weighing up to 50 pounds may be necessary.
  • Ability to identify items in guest rooms to ensure safety during work.
  • May work in varying weather conditions and noisy environments.
  • Potential exposure to wet and humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and cleaning chemicals.
  • May require travel to other locations within a reasonable distance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • No prior experience or training is necessary.
