Position Overview

The Housekeeping Attendant, also referred to as a Room Attendant, is essential in delivering a remarkable experience for guests and staff by ensuring cleanliness in guest accommodations in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exhibits a strong dedication to providing outstanding service for guests.
  • Adheres to company protocols, policies, and procedures while cleaning designated guest rooms.
  • Maintains housekeeping carts, storage areas, and laundry facilities in line with company expectations.
  • Informs the front desk or duty manager of any maintenance concerns.
  • Reports any forgotten guest belongings in the room to the front desk.
  • Assists with guest inquiries and requests as feasible.
  • Follows safety and security measures diligently.

Additional Duties

  • Assists in cleaning various areas of the hotel as directed by management.
  • Ensures overall cleanliness throughout the hotel.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Ability to understand instructions, policies, and guidelines, and communicate effectively with management and team members.
  • Ability to follow guidelines, meet deadlines, and adhere to productivity standards.
  • Consistently exercises sound judgment.

Environmental Considerations

  • Capable of thoroughly cleaning facilities in accordance with company standards.
  • Able to access low areas, work at heights, and maintain stability as required.
  • Must possess the flexibility to bend, kneel, and crouch.
  • Occasionally required to push or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to identify items in guest rooms to ensure safety during work.
  • May work in various weather conditions and noisy environments.
  • Potential exposure to wet and humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and cleaning chemicals.
  • May be required to travel to other locations within a reasonable distance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • No prior experience or training is necessary.
