JOB OVERVIEW

Support room attendants on designated floors by managing the collection of soiled linens and ensuring the timely delivery of fresh linens to housekeeping carts throughout the day. Responsibilities may include assisting with the removal of linens from rooms and maintaining cleanliness in public areas.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist room attendants with lifting and transporting heavy items such as mattresses and linens. Ensure timely delivery of linens and other necessary supplies to room attendants.
  • Collect all soiled linens from assigned Room Attendants' carts and closets and transport them to the laundry facility.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of floor closets and vending areas; manage waste disposal throughout the hotel, clean surfaces, and ensure floors are swept and waxed.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests for housekeeping supplies (e.g., linens, cots) to ensure efficient service.
  • Clean designated areas including public restrooms, fixtures, vending areas, storage spaces, and other public areas on assigned floors.
  • Report any required repairs or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
  • Address guest complaints effectively to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Monitor and manage supplies and amenities to minimize waste across all housekeeping areas.
  • Encourage teamwork and quality service through daily communication and collaboration with other departments.
  • May assist in collecting newspapers and other recyclable items.
  • May participate in regular deep cleaning initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, adhering to all Company and Brand Standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred.
  • Friendly demeanor with a focus on hospitality.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
