About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at North American College of Information Technology Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Housekeeping: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, pick up debris and empty trash containers, and wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure that all facilities are secure and safe for students, staff, and visitors.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Housekeeping room attendant certification.
  • Security Clearance: Criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, team player, values and ethics.
Work Environment

Our facilities are located in a non-smoking environment, and staff accommodation is provided. We are a school or educational institution/establishment, and our work setting is fast-paced and physically demanding.
