Job Summary

Great Canadian Entertainment is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Food and Beverage operations as a Manager, Food & Beverage. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the profitability of our food outlets, while minimizing operating costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to the Food and Beverage team
  • Develop and implement business plans to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Manage and mentor a large team of Food and Beverage staff
  • Oversee the coordination of Food and Beverage outlet managers and team members
  • Ensure operational effectiveness and service excellence
  • Prepare and monitor annual and long-term budgets and forecasts
  • Present financial reports to the Executive Team and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Promote and market the Food and Beverage business
  • Work closely with the General Manager to ensure strategic sales goals are exceeded
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Food and Beverage operations, including 2-3 years of successful management experience
  • Proven track record of driving profitability in Food and Beverage operations
  • Experience working with Microsoft suite and industry-specific software programs
  • POS experience
  • Serving it Right Certificate and Food Safe Level 2 required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment
  • High level of honesty and integrity
  • Ability to successfully obtain a criminal record and credit check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
