Job Summary

Great Canadian Entertainment is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Food and Beverage department as a Food and Beverage Operations Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced leader to join our team and drive the success of our culinary operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Food and Beverage team to achieve operational excellence and exceptional guest service.
  • Develop and implement business plans to drive revenue growth and profitability in the Food and Beverage department.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Food and Beverage professionals to achieve high levels of performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee the coordination of Food and Beverage outlet managers and team members to ensure operational effectiveness and service excellence.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, including P&L statements, to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and community partners.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Food and Beverage operations, including 2-3 years of management experience.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Serving it Right Certificate and Food Safe Level 2 certification required.

Work Environment Considerations

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be available to work all shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
