Athletes in Action (AIA) is a ministry that empowers people to know Jesus and experience his power to transform the world through sport.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Regional Director to lead our efforts in Canada. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with regional staff, coaches, and volunteers to implement Action Camps, Action Clubs, and other community-based sports initiatives.
Your primary focus will be on your region, but you will also collaborate with Regional Directors across Canada to develop and implement national resources and strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the hiring and supervision of regional staff and volunteers
- Managing the operation of camps, clubs, and sports initiatives in your region
- Developing relationships with local churches and community sports groups
You will also be responsible for providing oversight to programming in your region, leading and developing the regional staff team, and collaborating with the team of Regional Directors on national topics.
This role requires strong Ministry Partner Development skills, enabling you to build a partnership team that provides financial and prayer support for the ministry.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build a partnership team that supports the ministry financially and through prayer.
