Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team at Best Western Plus Gateway to the Falls. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conflict Resolution: Resolve complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Room Management: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Information Provision: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as general information about points of interest in the area.
  • Payment Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including assisting clients/guests with special needs and contacting customers to deliver requested wake-up calls.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Hotel laundry.
  • Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, excellent oral communication, and organized.
  • Experience: Will train, permanent employment, 40 hours per week, and English as the primary language of work.
