Job Title: Profit Centre Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Profit Centre Manager to lead our business operations at the Profit Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth while maintaining consistent profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market share, identify new business opportunities, and build relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Sales and Operations: Lead the sales team to achieve sales, gross profit, and profit-sharing goals, manage inventory and assets, and ensure efficient operations.
  • Financial Management: Analyze financial reports, develop and implement strategies to improve profitability, and manage expenses.
  • Team Management: Recruit, develop, train, and evaluate the Profit Centre team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to achieve business objectives.
  • Customer Service: Ensure the Profit Centre meets or exceeds customer service expectations, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Marketing and Purchasing: Develop and implement marketing plans, manage purchasing agreements, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Asset Management: Safeguard and maintain all Profit Centre assets, including buildings, trucks, equipment, inventory, and receivables.

Requirements:

  • Education: College and/or University degree.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of wholesale distribution experience and 2 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office software, strong work ethic, high standard of integrity, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred Skills: Previous experience with or knowledge of plumbing and building products, knowledge of the construction industry, and experience using Trend and Eclipse.
