About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join our team at Calgary Dental Group. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists during procedures, preparing instruments and equipment as needed
  • Take and develop X-rays, ensuring accurate and high-quality images
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and treatments, ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health
  • Perform clerical duties, including preparing invoices, processing payments, and scheduling appointments
  • May perform intra-oral duties, such as removing sutures, taking and recording vital signs, and applying desensitizing agents
Requirements
  • Dental assisting certification or relevant experience
  • Proficiency in ClearDent or willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
