Job Title: Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Stamping/Casting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Waterford Executive. This is a full-time position located in the Windsor area, working directly with our client, a global Tier 1 & 2 automotive manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement manufacturing processes, including process layouts for the manufacturing facility.
  • Develop and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, and parts.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure manufacturing processes meet industry standards and product specifications.
  • Make technical decisions on the purchase of new manufacturing equipment and coordinate maintenance and repair.
  • Apply lean manufacturing and six sigma principles to eliminate waste, improve processes, and reduce variability in production.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of proven shop floor/plant floor manufacturing engineering experience from within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technology.
  • Experience with CAD software and proficiency in designing manufacturing layouts.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
