Job Opportunity at Flex-N-Gate

Flex-N-Gate, a leading manufacturer and supplier of components for the automotive industry, is seeking a skilled Battery Manufacturing Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct experiments to evaluate the performance of electrode materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrode designs into the manufacturing process.
  • Scale up laboratory-scale processes to pilot and full-scale production.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to battery manufacturing.
  • Document and report findings, maintaining comprehensive records of experiments and results.
  • Understand and support cell design activities.
  • Effectively communicate project status and proactively manage risk.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Technical Background in EV battery cell development.
  • Hands-on experience in lithium ion battery cell manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of electrochemical principles and materials science.
  • Background in battery cell design & process.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate into product requirements.
  • Able to work independently and demonstrates inherent desire to learn and improve.
