Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at Edo Japan (Richmond Centre). As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of organization, leadership skills, and attention to detail. You will be working closely with our kitchen staff to ensure that all menu items are prepared to the highest standards and that customer satisfaction is always met.

Main Responsibilities
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant environment.
  • Supervise Kitchen Staff: Train, motivate, and supervise a team of kitchen staff to ensure that they are meeting their job responsibilities and adhering to our quality control standards.
  • Maintain Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all menu items meet our high standards.
  • Manage Inventory: Oversee the management of inventory, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 30-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Compensation

The salary for this position is approximately $45,000-$55,000 per year, depending on experience.
