Job Responsibilities:- Manage and collaborate on a high volume of personal injury files from start to finish.
- Conduct thorough file reviews to accurately assess claims.
- Draft pleadings, including motions, statements of claim, and mediation memorandums.
- Prepare and conduct client meetings, examinations for discovery, case conferences, motions, and pre-trial conferences.
- Develop strategy for resolving complex claims in a timely manner.
- Law degree from an accredited law school (LLB or Juris Doctor).
- Licensed to practice law in Ontario.
- 1+ years of post-call experience in personal litigation, ideally with trial experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and SABS.
- High degree of personal ethics, integrity, and responsibility.
- Assertiveness in practice, but reasonable and forthright.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Sound judgment and ability to critically analyze situations.
