  • Drive shrink reduction through diverse operational initiatives and analyze key financial reports to ensure asset protection strategies are effective.
  • Maintain objectivity and communicate issues to the District Manager of Operations as needed.
  • Conduct quarterly audits in corporate stores with weekly follow-up on exceptions.
  • Investigate integrity issues and conduct interviews in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure AP field staff respects apprehension protocol and review apprehension and incident reports for compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with asset protection and operational policy and procedures through regular store tours.
  • Provide training to asset protection partners and foster a culture of getting better every day and respect for the individual.
  • Manage asset protection partner scheduling to meet business unit needs.
  • Maintain a positive working partnership with operations, departments, and external partners.
  • Assess physical security needs and liaise with support teams as required.
  • Provide exceptional service to customers.

  • 5 years of progressive loss prevention/asset protection experience.
  • Knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada.
  • Post-secondary education in Law & Security or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive issues with integrity and strong professional judgment.
  • Ability to gain senior management support for new ideas and initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of company policy and procedures.
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Certified Wicklander investigator an asset.
  • Frequent travel required within assigned zones and provinces.
