Job Title: District Asset Protection Manager

The District Asset Protection Manager plays a critical role in developing and implementing asset protection strategies to reduce shrink and waste management. This position requires strong leadership and analytical skills to identify and address operational causes of shrink.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement asset protection strategies to reduce shrink and waste management.
  • Lead and mentor asset protection field staff and store colleagues to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to identify and address operational causes of shrink.
  • Conduct quarterly audits in each corporate store and provide feedback to store managers on areas for improvement.
  • Investigate and resolve integrity issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all asset protection and operational policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and coaching to asset protection partners on behavioral analysis techniques and apprehension protocols.
  • Collaborate with the District Manager of Operations to identify and address district-specific needs.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with local law enforcement, regulatory bodies, vendors, and other retailers.
  • Assess physical security needs and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of progressive loss prevention/asset protection experience.
  • Knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada.
  • Post-secondary education in Law & Security or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
